Anyone have them? I live in Sweden and I can buy them for about 26 dollars and I think that's pretty cheap...
I guess these earbuds are very good for the money because philips products usually is a very good buy for the money...( for example hp890)...But I think that Philips is more expensive in USA..

I have both the SBC-HE915 and the SBC-HE900, their speaker specifications are the same.

The autowind mechanism takes a bit of getting used to, but is quite handy on the go, slightly less handy at home, where the 900 fares better.

Anyway, both have most excellent sound, enough bass without being boomy, enough midtones and very nice treble. They sound really transparent with an excellent soundstage.

The casing of the phones of the 900 looks a bit more sturdy, but the 915 has been improved because foamies won't block the airholes at the back of the speakers.

It does need a bit of time to burn in, I think something like 16 to 24 hours. At first my 915 sounded worse than my 900, but after burn-in I think it actually sounds better than the 900.

Comparing to other headphones, the 900/915 sounds a lot better than the Sennheiser mx-500 which is a bit fatigueing (sp?), after a while it's sound seems to collapse into just mids. The MX-500 has less treble, the soundstage isn't as good and the sound is less well defined.
It also sounds a whole lot better than my Sony MDR-V300 and MDR-65 which sound pretty crappy actually

I think now my PCDP has become the limiting factor

Hmm...

Interesting ~ I bought a pair of HE-245s in Dublin just to clear out my €uros, and... they sound awful

I'll have to keep a look out for the HE-9xx to see how much better they are...

Thanks

Yes, it could be that they require even longer to burn in, but they do sound pretty good eventually, right? Shame I don't have a 888 to compare them to.

The 910 is the predecessor (sp?) of the 915, it has a different styling, but it has the same specifications. I couldn't find a 905 anywhere. The 910, like the 900 seems to be made a bit more durable, but foamies cover the airholes at the back of the speakers.
