Too plasticky construction, and seems like some bad quality plastic has been used. I have them from the last 8 months, and the plastic on the sides has started cracking, and seems, like it wont last for long. And to add, i am not abusing them , but using them with care.

They might look beautiful at the first sight, but the build quality isnt as good as it seems. Philips shouldve used some better quality plastic or either carbon fibre

Just a warning out to those who think the philips phones has a sturdy build qualty.

I can attest to this.

The headphones sound awesome, but the thing that holds the driver to the headband snapped after a few months of use.

Just be careful how you use them, dont let them fall ever, or they wont last for long , as the plastic seems to be of bad quality. Use them with utmost care, and they might last longer.

i know a problem a few people (including me) have had is that the supermini socket that the cable plugs into can fail, so you have to hold the cable in the headphone to get a connection... this happened to mine after about 8 months so i got them replaced because of the 12 month warranty... they are a cheap headphone (despite the price in the US) and they have the build quality of a cheap headphone...

edit: too me they also sound like a cheap headphone

hollow sounding and not very detailed... and my ra1 clone does nothing for them.

I guess it's all subjective. Some say these are bad phones while others claim they rival $200 cans. I think I'll like them for what I will use them for. We shall see.
