The date is set for Saturday October 8. It will be located in beautiful Central Bucks County at Good Shepherd Church in Hilltown, PA. We are located 15 minutes North of the PA Turnpike and 3 minutes off Rt. 309. For specific directions from your location, please go to the church's website . Let's say we could start gathering around 12 Noon and wrap it up between 6 and 7PM.

Updates 10/7/05
1. Just a reminder that we will have three dealers present at this meet. Ray Samuels from Ray Samuels Audio. Tyll Herstens from Headroom, and Ray Kingcaid from Kingcaid Audio.
2. My cell phone # is . Please call me if you need anything or can't find the church.
3. Hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chips, fruit, soft drinks, and bottled water will be available for a modest price.
4. Heavy rain is in the forecast, but the good news is we have a large overhang at one of our entrances! You can park, unload, and not get your equipment wet.
5. After the meet, I will need to break tables down and set some things up for Sunday AM. Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that this is going to be a very enjoyable afternoon and I look forward to meeting you all.

Updates 10/4/05
1. Everything is go for Saturday!
2. I just read that Ray Samuels is interested in coming. He needs a ride from either Philly or Allentown/Bethlehem airports. Please PM him if you can help.
3. Equipment lists are updated below. NOTE: My Little Dot II has experienced some capacitor issues and I am awaiting a replacement from China. I apologize to all of you who wanted to hear this amazing, inexpensive little chinese tube amp. However, hopefully my Morgan Jones on pcb will be somewhat finished by then. We shall see.

Updates 9/23/05
1. Here are the 1M Kimber PBJ w/ Cardas style RCA IC's that will be raffled off at the meet. Chances are 1 for $5, 3 for $12. They will be sold at the door. All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross in order to aid Hurricane Katrina (and now Rita

) victims.

Updates 9/21/05
1. Thanks to Hirsch the allusive Qualia's may be in the house. We shall see.
2. I hope to get some time this week to complete the Katrina PBJ Raffle IC's.
3. Hopefully I will have my Morgan Jones (Optimized Version on PCB) somewhat finished for the meet.

Updates 9/14/05
1. Just confirmed...Ray Kingcaid from Kingcaid Acoustics will be showing the Kirksaeter line of bookshelf speakers and an all new in-wall series. I know it is not headphone related by Ray is a local dealer, a really decent gentleman, and an expert in Vintage tube equipment. (BTW, I own a pair of Kirksaeter Silverline 60's which are hooked to my Vintage HH Scott LK-72B Int. Amp and the sound is glorious.)

2. Food will be available for a decent price at the show provided by members of my church. Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, pizza (?), chips, water, soda, etc...

3. I've gathered all the parts for the raffle to support the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Pictures of the cables should be up very soon.

Updates 9/09/05
1. Just confirmed...Headroom Rep Tyll Hertsens will be there!

Updates 9/8/05:
1. The raffle to support relief efforts in the Gulf Coast area has been finalized. The raffle will consist of a 1m pair of Kimber PBJ interconnects terminated with Cardas style silver RCA's. Pictures to follow. Chances will be $5 each! All proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross.
2. It looks like Headroom will be showing up with stuff to demo. More details to follow.
3. Our equipment list is getting long. Check it out!

Updates 9/2/05:
Here are some updates!
1. Looks like we are going to have some great equipment to enjoy! I will begin to list every piece and type in this post at the end, so we all know what to expect when we arrive. I am also going to compile a want list.
2. For those concerned about space...don't worry there is plenty of room at the church, with plenty of receptacles, tables, counters, parking, etc... The only thing I would ask people to bring are extension cords.
3. I've been in contact with both Headroom and Audio Advancements (i.e. Earmax) to see if they could send demo equipment. No commitments yet.
4. I don't know if this is ever been done but given recent events I would like to hold a raffle for some cables or something. The profits would go to relief organizations working with victims and refugees of Hurricane Katrina. More on this later.

Are you anywhere near the Burlholme/Lawndale areas surounding Philidelphia?

Is anyone here willing to be a coordinator? I know mrdon started the thread, so I hope that he could coordinate it. He also is a pastor of a church, so we have a place to hang. Now, I think we should set a date, preferably before 9/6 (for me)

EDIT: I am willing to be a coordinator!

Sorry guys about the delay in response!

I've never done this before so I don't know if these things are planned months in advance or not. Xilron can you help? It looks like people want to get together sooner than later but the earliest opening we have is Saturday October 8. We could start in the afternoon and go into early evening. I have little kids and I have to work the next day so I would have to cut out around 7:30 PM. BTW, how long do these things usually last? Our church has a nice hall with counterspace for amps, sources, etc... We also have pretty decent coffee and maybe we can all chip in for Pizza. This is the church's website. You can get directions there. Let me know your ideas and I promise to keep checking back here very regularly.
