Max Settings just picked up my Tekton Double Impacts and I'm having him do a review. So not sure how long it will take but see what it does. People don't know there are Russian headphones unless your name is Kennerton.

I placed an order for a Rock a few weeks ago, it should arrive early October. They'd be my first own electrostat headphones. Any tips for a nice amp to pair with them? Below 1000eur would be great
Try to get Stax 353x. It's discontinued but 885 us dollars gives all bells and whistles for inputs two headphone outputs(sorry earspeakers). It's not everything but can be improved by adding a warm DAC. The Rock does not loose anything like bass holographic wall of sound clarity and other stuff. The midrange is too light when using DAC that is not warm. My setup is 353x and Doge 7 tube DAC. I run it balanced.
Buy used and think about a future amp for the rock
Head position is important you may have to adjust head band and ear hole position is another aspect.

A Mjolnir Audio Octave II. It is almost at your price US$1340. It is a lot like the Stax 353x. I love my KGSS Klassik.I placed an order for a Rock a few weeks ago, it should arrive early October. If you decide to go above your price there's more then a few energizers for sale in the classifieds. I was about to sell my 353x to buy a Woo energizer but I hold off. Headamp bhse is the only high-end unit I had and it was amazing. I may buy the one in classifieds today.
Thanks for your answers.
Well for a first try I'd rather stay on the low end for the moment. What do you think about this one :

Otherwise I've found a 353x locally in the same price range

Reviews look good. A important option is the balance control. Sometimes you'll get one side louder then the other. When my headphone came the it had imbalance issue. Since it got fixed I haven't used that feature.
I ended up with the 353X, it should be delivered by the end of the week.
And to wait for the Perun, I found a Sennheiser HE60 "Baby Orpheus" that landed today. I'm just waiting for a Stax adapter from Mjolnir to try it on the 353X this weekend

353 is good amp. I’m not familiar with what’s better. The good ones I have idea are Kevin Gilmore designs at least when you read HeadAmp and Mjolnir. Spritzer wrote too me of being a beefed up Stax. You may want to stay with those brands.I ended up with the 353X, it should be delivered by the end of the week.

I miss my Rock I hope Max Settings gives it back to me. I cry enough with that women I’m legally married to.

Anyone A/B the Perun Rock 2020 (single bass driver) and 2021 model (with double bass driver)?
I have the original, and debating an upgrade...

Cool! How do they sound?Ok so the Rock arrived eventually...
It's so light I thought the box was empty when it was delivered this morning....
and maybe can you share how was ordering experience / what warranty they supply for their units?
I love my L700 mkII but cant stand the clamping force on upper jaw, etc any longer than 40 min. so that might be an alternative, the earpad design does look comfy
