Huh, interesting. Pretty brief, bare bones review really but nonetheless a positive one. Too bad it wasn't more in depth. I think he pointed out some of the Perreaux's obvious strengths with it's overall clarity, midrange and bass performance. While the rave has been the Perreaux /CD3000 pairing, which I am listening to now as I burn the CD3000 in, which I might add is a nice pairing, I too find the HD600 (in the reviewers case the 580's) go well with the Perreaux as well.

Looks like the reviewer found it to be a dinky knob as well.
AudioEnz is a pretty good place - one of the few places with a review of the AMC CD players. For anyone who hasn't been there before, the prices listed at the top of each review are not American dollars.

I agree that the review can be more insight. In addition, I wish the reviewer compared the Perreaux with other well established headphone amps. Anyway, his impression about the bass line, overall clarity, and beautiful midrange are very accurate.
