    Cable in the pic above is an old EarWerkz stock cable. It's similar build to the Ultimate Ears cables, which I really like.

    The Deca really is a great neutral reference IMO- it's just a really honest presentation. The bass extension, without being boosted, is extremely impressive.

    A great review which mirrors my own impressions, although I find Deca to have quite notable bass extension compared to most other BA.

    For me, nothing 'stands out' when listening with Deca. Everything is in the mix, where it should be; treble and bass heads need not apply. You used the word 'natural' a couple of times in your review, which is a word that sums up Deca perfectly.

    Good to see a comprehensive Deca review! Agreed with above on Deca's excellent sub bass extension. It remains strong down to 20hz.
