Well I can tell you guys. Mine have been constantly playing music since I got them and I feel they are finally well broken in. I was experimenting with the switches again last night and. You can hear the effects much better after they get some run in time much better than on open listen.
I prefer all switches on the on position. It gives the best of all of it. Unlike the Tansio Mirai Spark which has more treble emphasis vs the Legend. Never had to touch the treble switch on them. I can throw on the treble enhancing switch on the Legend and it sounds excellent. I like the balancing better on the Legend in comparison.
Legends have quickly become my top dog in my collection. The way my pair sounds now is unbelievable. I do think burn in has an excellent stage enhancing effect on the sonics. It sounds way more spacious with a wider deeper and taller stage than on open listen. There is no question.
By the way. I got word of the value of the included Legend cable. It is not your garden variety throw in cable infact it will surprise you what Penon might charge for the cable here separately. Their choice of a higher end pure silver cable was an excellent choice as it enhances everything about the Legend. A very great match up.
Storms brings the Legend to what Penon had in mind though but your not getting some cheap throw in cable on the stock Legend when getting a pair.
