In my DD experience, from my previous and current collections, the dd upper treble can be bright, excessively bright.
But w/ Penon's CV, they are great @ controlling the top end.
I believe they can succeed just the same...

I really truly love the Orb shells! They're legit imported high quality, non yellowing variety...

I've been quite happy with the Globes bass quantity.

Thank you all for your support. We are developing 1 dynamic and 3 dynamic IEM, but there is no way to develop EST for the time being, because there is a serious shortage of EST driver now.

Sounds like a good time to not be able to afford any new gear lol, maybe by the time I do have extra money to spend again, one or both of these will be out. Definitely looking forward to seeing what you all have got in store for us!

Globe, a little lacking compared to both Orb and Fan.

Edit to add/to be more precise, perhaps it’s the note/edge definition that’s weaker that I perceived as lacking quantity, more of a it’s there but not quite there, could be a little more. Apology for not knowing a better descriptor for it.

I remember from last year, we were trying to forecast a new Penon IEM, only to find out our forecast gave in to ISN - the EST50.

Yep. Orbs have the best bass quality compared to the Globe and Fan, albeit the the latter (2) have really good bass on their own...

I sort of understood their rationale behind such design as I believe the Globe are meant to have a more balanced approach playing to its strengths in the mids and upper.
