Pelican makes good stuff, I happened to own one of their products (can't remember which) , they are amazingly tough. I'm sure the only thing that can break a pelican case is a hammer

same, i got the westone branded pelican case to protect my baby, but those aren't portable enough for daily carry - they're great for long term storage with desiccant pod and all, but it's huge. i figure when i upgrade to customs, i can use that extra case for whatever iem i'm not using daily.

Yep, it did, but it's too large and I don't like having to precisely coil them around to put them in the case.

I need one1 I'm storing four pairs of universals in the MDR-EX1000 case. Very hard to pack without removing the cables.

Pelican was a sponsor for my daughters elementary school and they received the 1010 during a company tour.  No fancy cloth though.  Using it for my SE530s and it's nice.  I use a backpack so no space problems.  Planning on getting the ES5s shortly, so maybe I'll have 2 to use.

i have the foam although i never use my pelican cases anymore. It fills up the entire interior space but I have put a dap and my customs in there before. It's a tight fit but the foam is soft and works out fine. Alternatively you can cut the foam to how you want it.

i think the size is just right, it is bigger than usual iem cases but the pelican, you can hold both dap and iems and keep it in your bag or something.
