I am using foobar 2000 as the media player on my PC connected to a ifi micro idsd tp play flac and hi-res audio. Would a DAP. especially the ones highly regarded on this site eg Fiio ibasso Cowon provide better audio? I know better sound is subjective but my basic question is; apart from portability is a good DAP better than a PC for playing audio?
