The newer k70 has a full sized wrist rest as well as backlit keys.  There are also more switch options as opposed to just red.  I used to own the K65, it's very great solid keyboard and I'd definitely recommend it.  I would have upgraded to the k70 in a heartbeat since it pretty much addresses all the issues I had with the keyboard, but I ended up switching to a topre board since I do more typing than gamming nowadays.
Also, are you getting the compact storm or the full sized one?  I actually never heard of the tenkeyless (no keypad) format until a few years ago.  I used to think that those compact keyboards were just for people with limited desk space, but being able to have your keyboard a few inches closer to your mouse actually makes it faster and more comfortable to use, so keep that in mind too.

The compact is the one I'm eyeing. And sooooo which one?

When my G15 finally died...

I went looking for a keyboard, it was between the Corsair K60 and the CM Storm QuickFire Ultimate and the Levetron Mech 5
The only problem with the Mech 5 is it would not fit in my desk shelf, I really liked the looks and functionality of that one.

As always when you need a keyboard there are those on the way and not out at the time.

I seriously want this keyboard, totally programmable individual key lights.

Or the new SteelSeries Apex

And now Cooler Master has an Aluminum one...

NICE!

Yeah the K70 is what the K60 should have been...
There is the possibility of a full size wrist rest for the K60, or so they said in the Corsair forums, which reminds me I'll have to go hound them some more for availability.

So many choices!

That cooler master seriously looks nice.   Do any of you guys actually use the macro keys, if so what for? I've had my black widow for close to 2 years and I haven't gotten around to setting up the software, can't imagine what I'd use them for... Probably for spamming lyrics of songs into in game chat on bf3 or something stupid like that lol

Whatever you say, Yazen...

It's actually one of the few good rubber dome keyboards last time I remembered.

I want a WASD V2 TKL. Not sure if I'd like white switches or not so I'm thinking about purchasing 1-2 of MX Brown, Red, and Clear to see how I like them. It's been awhile since I was at Akihabara in Japan testing out mechanical keyboards. Loving my Filco Majestouch Black w/ MX Blues though. Bought this one in Japan.

I use the macros a lot in Skyrim ... mostly for cheats that modify travel speed and other purely functional stuff like that ... also use them a lot for logins to various websites I use which, for some reason or other won't remember my login information (banking, etc.) ...

You don't necessarily have to use them for games ... the one's with the K95 can actually be written in to the keyboards hardware memory and will operate whether the software is running or not.

Never tried whites either, except the older white alps switches (not much of a fan).  What makes you want to switch your Filco?

I like the Sidewinder X4, as its very responsive and the keys have a nice texture.  Idk for games I hate the way mechanicals respond in general..  Typing on the other hand is a whole different story
