mods please move to members lounge.

I'm trying to pay someone but my payment looks as if it's being split in 2 since I don't have enough balance.

How can I pay completely from just bank transfer / echeck?

I think you can just select to take it from your credit card but then you have to have one registered. Haven't seen an option to withdraw the amount from your account, otherwise.

It is automatically taken from the paypal balance UNLESS you click the "other payment source" link.
The common wisdom is that it is unwise to leave a balance anyway: the interest rate is super low and if they freeze your account by accident, it might be hard to retrieve.

On that note, I just decided to transfer the almost 500$ I have on there to my checking account. Call me paranoid.
