Hi folks,
I'm looking for passive satellite speakers. This would mainly be for music listening.
I need them to be small enough so I can put them on my desktop.
Which brand/model would you recommend for a 300 €/$ budget?

If a subwoofer is needed (2.1), i think I can get a spare one. So I'm only looking for the satellite speakers.

Eventually, I narrowed it down to:
- polk audio s10
- svs prime satellites
Both models fit the bill, with similar sizes and specs. Polk's seem to have a slighty better response in lower range, and much higher in trebles (40 khz - not that I should hear any difference).

Anyone had experiences with these polk and svs speakers?

For something I would expect to be a good bang for the buck.

Nice and cheap, a bit big for my liking, though.
Unfortunately it looks like it's barely available in Europe...
