Hi folks,
I'm looking for passive satellite speakers. This would mainly be for music listening.
I need them to be small enough so I can put them on my desktop.
Which brand/model would you recommend for a 300 €/$ budget?

If a subwoofer is needed (2.1), i think I can get a spare one. So I'm only looking for the satellite speakers.
Thanks for any hints or guidance.

Eventually, I narrowed it down to:
- polk audio s10
- svs prime satellites
Both models fit the bill, with similar sizes and specs. Polk's seem to have a slighty better response in lower range, and much higher in trebles (40 khz - not that I should hear any difference).

Anyone had experiences with these polk and svs speakers?

Do you already have a speaker amplifier?

Yes, I do: Creative Sound Blaster X7 connected to my PC.
Check out the website AVforum, it's located in the UK, I'm guessing people there can point you to the best deals, in Europe.
