I just bought a passive power conditioner for a great price off ebay. But then I saw on one of the photos there was a sticker saying 120v.

The problem is that I'm am at a 240v region so I'm not sure if it will work. Originally I thought that being a PASSIVE power conditioner, the voltage shouldn't matter. Can someone confirm if the voltage matters?

Don't get it. Even if it really doesn't matter, the holes are for 120V connectors anyway, so your 220V connectors won't fit.

well it's too late not to get it unfortunately! But my power cables are terminated with US plugs so the holes are not going to be a problem. I'm just concerned that if I plug it in it will explode or something!

Best consult Paul McGowan at PS Power Forum, but the manual of the PS Audio Quintet says the warranty is void if use a 120V Quintet in a 220V region. This can't be good.
