Just for the record the order came quickly and it all worked out, so hey, no big complaints here. Next time, I won't be worried if it seems like my cust. service rep is a 15-year-old boy.

Very interesting. I called and ordered some parts a week or so back, but did not receive any random humor emails. Maybe they're secretly watching these forums...or maybe I'm ordering in a different fashion than the OP. Oh well. I will continue ot buy stuff there as I like their product lines.

I placed my first order with them on 8/10. They were very accurate (large order) and prompt with an invoice. After a slight delay in getting an enclosure from Hammond (not their fault) they got me everything last friday (8/24 - three days earlier than anticipated)

All in all I'm quite pleased with the interaction.

Here is an odd occurrance - I sent an email order on the 18th (for darn sure), which I followed up by phone on the following Monday, but they hadn't received the order - OK, no biggie, just enter an order and they sent the stuff.

I get an email THIS Monday (yesterday) asking me to verify the shipping on this order... odd, but I decline. An exchange ensues where it looks like their email provider had some email stuck in que, then flushed them out again a week later.

Long/short: Please let Stephanie know of any email anomalies as soon as possible, so they can work this with their provider. This looks like a real potential to create some severe misunderstandings, either in delayed shipments, over shipment, or no shipments at all.

I've found myself (granted only one order) and have heard many accounts of email problems with them. I have never heard of anyone having an issue calling and placing your order over the phone (what I did) I'd recommend calling if you want to be absolutely sure.

My only complain that last few times I ask them to ship ground or whatever cheaper, because I am not in a hurry and they did exact the opposite - FedEx Express!

But they apologized.

I just ordered over $400 stuff from PC, very nice experience. Email response was good and friendly. The best part is, they offer airmail shipping to overseas (AU), which I found not many other vendors are willing to do so.

I'm sure it's a fine distributor. In fact, I almost placed an order this morning, but I don't like that PDF e-mail thing. It's too complicated, too burdensome, and frankly in this day and age, I don't have a great opinion of sites that don't have a real web store. (And before you say it, I would have called, but it was too early in the morning.)

Another vote for a better ordering system.

I have gotten pretty quick at it by opening up the site on a couple of windows and copy and pasting from the website, but what a hassle.

Also, the navigation on the website leaves a bit to be desired.

I guess I shouldn't complain too much about a company that can get me my parts the next day.

I agree. But at least it is somewhat better, though potentially more confusing than dealing with Michael Percy Audio!

Webstores are the only way to go.
