It seems that these two units are the portable CD players of choice. Can someome confirm this and tell me the differences between the two? Is the 570 worth the extra money? Important considerations are anti skip and line out. I will be using sony V-6's and sennheisers HD-280's for headphones while jogging and sometimes will want to connect the CD player to my receiver.

I never used the 570, but i own the 470 blue. The headphone jack is pretty terrible IMO. It sounds a bit grainy/warm and simply cannot drive headphones loud enough for me, including the Sony 7506's which are identical to the V6's. Funny thing is that my Sony minidisc player does a better job at driving my 7506's.

However the saving grace is the lineout and the anti skip protection which works well.

I thought the 470 was a good CD Player that could drive sony V-6's well. What might better in the $100 price range? Good anti skip and line out?
