So i bought a pair of pink Panasonic RP-HTX7s, i want to change the pink bit, what would be the best way to do this cheaply? just sand the pink bit down then paint it? if so what products would your recommend and how would you say to do it?

Vinyl dye.  It's not paint, which coats the surface; it changes the color of the plastic.  There are threads on Head-Fi that address painting of one's headphones.  I'm a fan of disassembly prior to spraying, but others say you can just mask off the headphones with painters' tape of something.
