I just built a Meta MINT amp, and it works great, except that the Pot introduces a lot of noise right in the middle of its range. On the low end and upper end, the signal is almost completely silent, but for about 15 degrees in the middle of its range, it gets very noisy, and some weird, almost RF sounding interference.

Any tips on what it could be?

I'm thinking that it is a bad pot, since I have built a couple of MINT amps in the past and never had this problem. Plus the fact that it only happens in a certain spot in the range of the pot and not all the time leads me to believe that it is a transient problem in the pot, and not some other problem in the configuration of the board.

Anyone have any ideas?

i heard something like this on my cmoy. It turned out the output was touching the ground. It sounded like the amp was trying to pick up radio signals. With my mint, i once did not have the out plugged in well enough and got static like from the radio (i use sockets). Hope this helps.
