Hello, I´m new to your forum;
my old panasonic PCDP broke down and so I want to buy a new one;
currently these slightly older models are on sale
CT-780 for 100 €
CD-480 for 85€
on the Sony range the D-EJ 761 is 60 €
the stylish looking sony´s 1000, 2000, 985. 955 are well above 150 €
I think that Pana 780 could be a deal - as it was the top of the range some time ago
perhaps you can answer some more questions; I´m using that PCDP to listen to non-stop-DJ mixes; with a CD-Player you can ensure that there are no gaps between the tracks
I was looking at a mp3player as wel, as the mixes are on my harddisc, but I assume that you can´t play non-stop music with them? Am I right?
the same problem would be with a hd-based player? Right?
I heard that you can play non-stop music with minidisc and you can make a deal on the Sharp Dr 470 = DR 7 in Germany for 200 Euro; is it worth it? If I use netMD I only can upload the mixes in MDLP and that seems silly to me; MDLP is rated as 160 Kbit/s MP3 and I think this would disgrace the sound quality, especially if I use 192 KBit/s MP3´s from the net (only the music I can´t buy in Germany of course) as there are 2 conversions into 2 different formats;
that´s why the PCDP is the way to go? Right?
sorry about my english
and many thanxs in advance
if I want
