Hi guys,

This is my first post on HeadFi, and also my first foray into high-end portable audio. After a year with my iPod 30GB and EP-630 I’ve decided it’s time to upgrade. I’ve just acquired the 4G Nano 8GB, and would like your thoughts about pairing the Sennheiser IE8 with RSA P-51 Mustang.

Now, I realize that this question might be premature since both the IE8 and the P-51 have only just been introduced, and no one has had a chance to audition them together yet, but I’ll ask anyway just in case I’m wrong.

only a handful of people have tried the Mustang at this point so a clear answer wouldn't be possible. However, after reading some of the impressions for the initial Mustang prototype, it sounds like it would be awesome and am sure that it will work really well with the Senns.

I have the Predator and it does a fine job with IEMs.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully, one of those lucky enough to have tried both (even if not at the same time) will chime in. If not I'll have to settle on listening to the IE8 straight from my Nano.
