Pairing Sennheiser HDVD 800 with Walkman

    Hello,

How would I go about pairing my Sony NW-WM1Z with my Sennheiser HDVD 800? Currently I have it setup to play my PC mp3 tracks, but I would really like to hear my FLAC tracks from my Walkman on my HD800S. Anyone know of a cable that will work?

    Regards

Watch this video and check to see if you already have these cables:

If you do get the 4.4mm-to-dual-3-pin-XLR cable above, you can use these extension cables to go in the back:

If you need extension cables for 4-pin XLR headphones in the front, use this cable:

Here are extension cables for 6.35mm headphones:

The 4.4mm balanced output on 1Z is not grounded so not recommended to use cable that converts to 3-pin XLR. There will be noise or will short out the WM. Best to use the digital output as instructed in my video.
