Just curious about the quality and other information regarding the PA2V2. I see them on ebay and was wondering how many people had them. I would be interested in it for driving KSC-75's, Sennheiser HD424's (2000ohms), and Grado SR-60's. I would be using it from my Zen Vision M or Laptop. Just wanted to know from people who have them what they think. Also whats a good price to pay for one of these. It would be my first amp. Its between this and a CMOY now, although I like the fact I can connect this to my computer using an AC adapter. Any thoughts are appreciated.

The PA2V2 is great as a portable headphone amp. It's driven everything I've thrown at it without a sweat and I've never turned the dial more than a third of the way.

However, as a desktop amp, I encountered issues when hooking up my laptop (G4 powerbook) to a Turtle Beach Audio Advantage Micro to the PA2V2 to phones. The TBAAM already amped the phones enough, and adding the PA2V2 was overkill to me. Actually, listening to itunes at full volume, I usually only use 2 bars of my system volume with my DT700/80s, the TBAAM provides a lot more juice than I would have thought.

Fortunately, both the TBAAM and PA2V2 can be had for less than $100, so you can use one for the laptop and one for the zen.

I have the TBAAM and PA2V2, they are both very powerful little beasts so I am not surprised that they dont play too well together.

The PA2V2 is a super little amp and the seller is a great guy.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Thats actually what I was going to do. I have a $6 imitation TBAAM that should be here tomorrow and I was wondering how that would do with the PA2V2. Guess I will wait and see how the USB thing works first before I make and decisions. Just want something to get some more power to my old Senns and future Grados.
