Hello I'm searching for a replacement headphone.
Budget: Around 100 EUR, flexible but I prefer a bit less.
Source: For cellphone/tablet (train) + laptop (work)
Requirements for Isolation: Public Transportation so a bit needed, no active cancelling needed though.
Will you be using these Headphones in Public?: Yes
Preferred Type of Headphone: full size, over ear
Past headphones: Using a srh440 at home which I like but its a bit too heavy. I have a mi headphones which I am looking to replace, like the design and portability but they broke down already. Audio was def. less good then my shure.
Preferred Music: Metal.
What would you like to improve on from your set-up: Needs a easy replaceable cable since that seems to break fastest, prefer no noise leak and need to be able to wear them for hours at a time.
Location: Belgium, can order from the EU amazons and local sites. As well as import from china etc.
What I have found myself: I have been looking at the following:
Audio-Technica ATH-M40X
Takstar PRO82
Pioneer HRM-5
Philips SHP 9500S
I'm leaning towards the pioneer one, Any feedback?
