I'm looking to invest into a nice pair of closed, over-ear cans. I currently have had the srh440's for a year but I'm looking for more. I currently have a FiiO E17 and listen to acoustics, classical some pop, but am mostly looking for crispness and details in the mids and highs with less focus on the bass. I'm willing to spend about $300 and the only pair I've seriously considered were the srh940s. Unfortunately, I intend to use these a lot and for a long time, and the build quality of the SRH940s is a dealbreaker regrettably. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Right now there is an Oppo PM-3 in the classifieds for $310. That is probably the best closed-back you can get for that price.
