I have an older NAD 304 amp (still working great) and its headphone jack has an output impedance of 220 Ohms.
On the computer, I have an older EMU 1820 card and its headphone jack has an output impedance of 22 Ohms.
With my 50 Ohm rated Sennheiser HD595, with which amp then, in theory, should my music sound better? Both devices have about the same SNR rating by the way.
If I purchase Sennheiser HD650, would it sound better with the NAD amp? The EMU can also drive up to 600 Ohms.
Thanks.
