There's once an April fool's joke told by us that we'll jump into the full-size market.
And here we are, our first ever planar magnetic full size headphone is up for preorder, waiting for brave ones to test its potential.

@MOONDROP , @koudairanger , I am using the IEMs and Headphones shown in my signature, as well as the DAC/Amps shown there.
I am listening to Amazon Music Unlimited, YouTube and a few FLAC and WAV files of my own. I am using my Android phone as my source. Sometimes, rarely, my laptop.
I am listening to Electronica 85% of my time, the rest all other genres besides Classical.

Is the Venus for me?
Please, pay attention to the emphasised text.

Thank you.

If the freq response graph is accurate then you’d need to apply a fair amount of EQ, best to wait for independent response curves to be posted before making any decisions

Wow they looks sweet. 500 dollars. They look like Susvara. If they can compete, cheers!

Going straight at the HiFiman Edition XS is probably suicidal!

Is there going to be a Waifu, at least?

tuned for neutral reference, slightly warm, bright? emphasis on resolute vs. fun? knowing a bit from Moondrop about how they are tuned would be informative.
They put an FR graph up in the post. Looks like its warmer elevated bass and kinda Harman-ish after that.

Diffused field target is certainly an interesting choice to say the least. They look beautiful, but still skeptical on their performance.

My guess is that there’s a 50/50 chance these totally flop. I would consider the group buy if they at least offered $150sh off, but $50 isn’t cutting it.
