eBay is fine, but Paypal is could be bad. I would only accept check, money order, or some sort of escrow service with such an expensive item because all you need is someone savvy enough to do a charge back on Paypal and/or you make one wrong move and Paypal won't have your back. I would also consider blocking foreign eBayers except possible Canadian and the UK because all you need is someone that doesn’t read English very well winning the item and then he or she isn’t happy with the payment terms or cost of shipping (and then the potential for negative feedback exists).

Use a good, dependable escrow service and you'll be fine. Most bidders will be totally happy to use escrow if you're paying. Well, the legit ones at least.

smart idea - think of it this way - you haven't even received the HEV90 or HE90 yet. Once it's here and you have had enough time with the Orpheus system, and with the headamp with the HE90, you can make a decision. In that time, the price for either amp most likely wouldn't have depreciated, so you lose nothing in being patient.

“In that time, the price for either amp most likely wouldn't have depreciated”

This amp was in the “For Sale” Forum and obviously didn’t get the offers desired. There’s actually 2 other HEV90’s available if you pay attention.

Devalue? Maybe. The new amps are blowing the HEV90 out of the water. There’s a reason why so many are available at this point. Previously there were no alternatives. Today there are reasonably priced alternatives that truly excel in performance.

another reason to wait hehe. if there are two other HEV90s out there, maybe now's not the best time to sell one, especially if the seller's on the fence about it.

I have been using Paypal all my life with no problems, charge back??? Well for that, they need a very good reason, even though, I do not think you will leave that much money in your account after you end the trasaction, that is htem ain reason you are seeeling it as you need the money for other things, for so long, so if you remove the money, I do not see how they could charge you back, they could notify the bank, but if you have no funds, there is nothing they can do about...

you guys, im not going to be selling the hev90 anymore. (At least not for now) Besides, i also would like to test it and use it for a while before i sell it to some one.

Thanks for all the people who were being supportive of my decisions and thanks for all the advice

I'm closing this thread becasue I see nothing productive coming out of it. I've done a lot of clean up, and if left open, it would just continue down the same path.

The bottom line is that, any personal issues aside, it's the guy's amp to do with what he wants. I can see why some people would be upset, but there haven't been any violations of our "Rules/Terms of Use" and there is nno indication that this is a scam or whatever. So let's simply let the dust settle where it may, and put this one behind us.
