I'd like to finally know of somewhere that I can test audio equipment out before I buy it!
Please don't recommend other places in Florida, like Miami or Tampa, they are too far away for me right now.
I searched online and could only find (in Orland) a Sam Ash, "home theater" setup dealers, and places that had all kinds of audio equipment - for cars only.

Someone once mentioned that Guitar Center had a decent selection, but i'm in sarasota and the closest one is in north tampa. I know theres one in Orlando, but i've never been so I can't confirm.

The only headphone shop I know of or have ever been to in Orlando is that guitar center that aphexii mentioned. The headphone selection was good, not great or outstanding by any means, but they've got a balance of low to high end headphones. on the other hand, they had an excellent selection of amps and some DACs as well. granted, this visit was about 2 years ago, so don't take my word for it.

btw, i stopped by the samash here in sarasota, all they had was like 10 different Samson models, the 7506's, HD280pros, and some other cheaper models.
