Demo'ed First Times today. Brief impression compare to bird stock cable:
- Bass slightly elevated
- Mid, especially in vocal more forwarded
- Cleaner background and more revealing a bit
- While vocal feel closer, imaging wider than stock
- Ear guide is tighter than stock cable, loop is smaller but i don't have problem with the fit

Overall, i agree they're upgrade from stock cable but not large margin IMO. Treble is the weakest part in this cable, not bad, but could be not bright enough for some people. If somehow you can get rid of stock cable (or want to keep same traits) then it's worth for you. Otherwise, stick to stock cable perfectly fine.

It's already officially announced just now.
Normal HKD $18,800 (USD $2410)
Shielding HKD $25,800 (USD 3,308)

so which cables have better treble?
Better in what sense?

Are you looking for “more” treble presence, or “smoother and more refined” treble without detail loss?

I'm looking for more treble presence and more clarity in the mids. Thinking a silver cable might be the solution for me. Anyone here tried the bird with silver?

I feel like centurion may be better based on feedback I have heard about it.

I have not listened to Centurion myself.

If you’re after bodied mids and more forward and powerful vocals, orphy is incredible. FT is likely better on that front as well.

I use Traillii with DHC Symbiote Elite 19 silver cable. Also tried Effect Audio Cleo. The first is better. With it, the headphones are great on high and in the middle. However, I can't say that these cables or silver at all can shift the sound to a high range. I've listened to a lot of silver cables and they never change that sound. But this cable give gorgeous control. Cleo is more fat. And first of all I would recommend choosing tips.

Good point.

Spinfit Cp155 have been amazing for adding warmth and actually cutting some edge off the estat treble (which I am sensitive to in general.)

That’s the opposite of what I’m looking for.

Haven’t tried pure silver but have tried Palladium Plated silver. It was highly refined and very nuanced - transparent, in a word. It is a lighter presentation relative to stock - still clear and full in the midrange and treble but with a little more air and sparkle (at the cost of some of the weight / body).

Unfortunately haven’t tried that.

I did try a graphene SPC. Also airier and slightly less bodied but didn’t add much sparkle. Rather muted in that regard which wasn’t ideal to my ears with the bird.

I have tried EA Horus with similar effects.
