How are they different to the CA bag, other than the little strap at the back for the cable (which probably won't work for thicker cables)?
the quality of the van nuys case is very good...the mesh and build is quite robust and it's more "solid" and padded vs. the looser ca pouch. they also have velcro straps in the back vs. the strap...which I don't bother using anyway.

the two I have also aren't sewn shut on the bottom like the ones in the picture evo linked to. mine have a little loop on the bottom of one side that holds things in place, but also let's things breath.

will post pics when I have time.

Thanks, yes I see there are two versions on Amazon JP. The ones you have ship globally. The sewn up ones don't.

Shanling M8 demo arriving Wednesday, really looking forward to seeing how this pairs with the Traillii. It’s been on my eye for months but for some reason I never pulled the trigger. I’ll report back in a few days. :) Based off what I have read about the M8, I feel I will love it.
Geesh...about time

So after another day at the office, listening to the bird through the W2, I’m one step closer to going totally portable and ditching the SE200.

If I’m not doing side by side comparisons, the W2 still sounds amazing and has me smiling and jamming to the music.

The added benefit of fitting everything into the Traillii case (as I pictured this morning) is also moving me toward selling the SE200.

If I get there, I’ll take my monetary gains, enjoy my setup, and log out of head-fi forever. Or, I’ll think about demoing the LX, finally demo them, scour the classifieds for a good deal...

edit: head-do lol

I had the LX + Traillii combo, but I've been having a lot of bass fatigue recently. So much so, that it's been 3 weeks since I used the LX. I parted ways with my LX and let my Dunu Zen/BLON 03/TC 01 pick up the slack.

well looking at your collection of gear I am surprised you haven’t bled to death yet! 😂 amazing collection.
One more headphone incoming... 😂 I want to test a few DAPs (DX300 incoming), find an Erlkonig. Then downsize and call it a day... If only the manufacturers would stop developing great new stuff...

DX300 is my favorite android dap I have used. Erlky.. <3

Exciting times for you to say the least. The clear out won’t be fun though. Selling stuff on the new classifieds is awful.

I think I may try it in the not too distant future. I need to stop the bleeding somehow...
I have a few things in the works, and then I may do the same. Just to reset and refresh. Feels like this journey is coming to a natural pause. But I'll never be too far away and will always be keeping an eye on things even if it's from afar for a while.
