I know there's a "Folding@Home" thread, but it's not exactly what I'm thinking about

Those are great! Do you make them from scratch? (Like without any instructions?)

Very impressive! I can just about make a paper airplane, and a pirate hat!

lol I wish. Nah they were from instructions online. Yoda is actually on youtube, it's a pretty good video. Wouldn't recommend it as your first origami though!

I'm actually off work the next two weeks, so will update this thread with models as I go.

Heh. Funny you should ask that. The rose was the very first thing I folded on this folding stint.

The sheets are about 10 inches square. I've also made some models out of squares 5 inches across, but all of these are using the larger sheets, because as mentioned, you would otherwise run out of 'fold' before getting the shapes out. The bee's got me stuffed atm, and it's annoying me! Stupid sink folds limiting later folds.
