Hi everyone,
I just switched to Walkman a50, and there's this problem that's giving me headache.
I come from iTunes organization, where the flag “compilation” would move all the album songs into a Compilations folder, preventing all the dozen sorted artists to pop up into the main “Artist” search field. Now, I feel a such modern and dedicated music player as the a50 should have a similar way to catalog my library, but I really can’t find it, and have all my artist section flooded with hundreds of compilation musician which I only have 1 track.
I already tried using the COMPILATION tag (on flac files) but the player would simply ignore it.
I already thought to a way round: move all artist names into the track's title, and using a single artist tag to group all the compilation artists, but this would just be an ungraceful patch and it would need to retag many albums.
