I've tried to live a cheap life when it comes to audio, but I can't resist those etymotic er-6i's, so I'm going to order them. Any recommendations on whats the best way to do that?

I'm ordering to Sweden, and I assume that if i order through headroom i support head-fi a bit(?), or is it best to order straight from etymotics? Have any of the forum users had trouble with international orders from ety?

thanks!

Hi Biotech9,

I ordered my Ety's 4P/S Cable from Headroom and saved well over £80 on the UK price, it's very easy, I just placed my order online with Headroom using my Visa card, first you have to create a customer account with address/shipping details, then simply login and place your order, leave the shipping on the smallest charge, and type in the comments box that you would like to have your items shipped by FedEx, it costs around $30 or $35 or so, which is very cheap to the UK and Ireland, I think it should cost about the same to Sweden, within Europe.

Just before you receive your parcel, which is only a matter of 1 to 2 days after Headroom despatch it, you will receive a call from FedEx, asking you to pay the Import Duty and VAT, there and then by Debit or Credit Card, this also includes a very small admin fee of around £4 to £5 or so, they will then release the parcel to you. Sometimes they could send you an invoice within 14 days after delivery, but they only normally only do that when they're really very busy.

Best wishes,

Paul.
