Well...I ordered food (delivery) from a place two hours ago...

it's still not here. The place is now closed.(I ordered it an hour before they closed).

When should I assume that it is just not coming and order somewhere else?

EDIT: OK here's what happened. CampusFood emailed me today and said they spoke to the store's manager. Apparently they (the Chinese restaurant) implemented significantly shorter summer hours and failed to notify CampusFood.

If it was not me, it was bound to happen to somebody. The website is now updated with the correct hours. The charges were dropped. Bravo to CampusFood for quick action!

I called up CampusFood.com (where I ordered it from) and left a complaint message. I told them the food never arrived. I have an order confirmation email and everything. I payed by credit so I hope they did not bill me.

I've never had this happen to me before. Has this ever happened to you?

Check over your backyard fence...sometimes companies toss stuff over there if they're too lazy to knock.

were you wearing headphones when they knocked on your door?

Time to hit a drive-through.

Maybe a 7-11 hot dog if you're desperate. I've eaten those in various states of intoxication. Remarkably, I've always felt OK afterwards.

ugh.. I can't stand fast food anymore..

every time I crave mcdonalds and grab a burger,
I get McTummyache, followed by McDizzyness, McSick, and finally McPuke...

I just have some apples/pears at night if I need to

I usually give them one (1) hour to deliver, if nothing else have been agreed on.
Then I give up on them and order elsewhere, or just skip the whole meal.

Tip better. I got off the train (T in Boston) at 12 Midnight last Monday. I called my local Chinese place. They were at my place 1 minute after I got in. This was at 12:14 AM. No BS. incredible. They had placed me at the front of the queue since I tip over 20%.
