Ordered a Shanling M8. Recommend headphones & IEM

Hello. I just ordered an M8 after reading reviews. I also considered the Fiio M15. I'm hoping to use it as a high end source for my automotive systems but I would also like to use it at home and walking. I'm LOST!!!

The reviews I read recommend neutral tonality. There is currently a pair of Focal over ear in the classifieds but I have no idea what I'm looking at...

Since I'm starting at ground zero, what Jack should I be using? Can you please shed some light and help me out? I'd prefer to stay under $1000 for over ear and under $350 for in ear. I don't know how realistic that is.

I've ordered 3 pairs. Sennheiser 58X Jubilee, Sennheiser Momentum 2 & Fiio FD5. No idea when my M8 will be here but I expect these to arrive ahead of my DAP.

Focal definitely aren't neutral, so if that's what you're going for I'd look elsewhere. The Elegia at least has something of a treble spike.

For a neutral (Harmon curve tuned) IEM I recommend the Tanchjim Oxygen.

Thanks for the recommendation. I just found out that the "in stock" M8 isn't actually in stock. This is giving me too much time to research iem and now I'm considering returning both iem I've ordered and get a pair of Kinera Nan na 2.0...
