Optimus Nova 70

Anyone ever heard of this? I seen it at RadioShack back in late 1998. For some reason, these sounded pretty loud (compared to just about anything I see around today) and were full-sized headphones. Anyone remember them? I was wondering how they got such a loud sound to output even from 'walkman' stuff (that may have as little as 5 mW/channel).

My sister has a 71 from a few years back. I recently tried them on with my iPod, and I almost broke down listening to them

Needless to say, I threw them off and put them back on the high shelf where they belong.
