So A buddy of mine gave these to me cause they have a bad cable so I am recabling them and Did a bit of a Kramer mod to the grill. I noticed on them that the driver is significantly larger than the area that is not covered by the pads. I wonder if opening them up could improve sound. I tried them out and they sound a step better than the KSC75s. They have Koss drivers as well. I am just curious if I could find new pad and maybe spruce up the looks.
