Opinions on Waveterminal and Edirol

Gents,

Currently I have an older Waveterminal U2A and I am thinking of getting an Edirol UA25.

I like the USB connectivity and was wondering if anyone had any comparisons or advice on the 2 units.

I would have to buy the Edirol on line, so I do not think that auditioning the unit would be possible.

I have a maxed Pimeta as an amp, so driving the headphones is taken care of.

ANy opinions on the merits of the units?

I have wt u24 usb, it is warmer and smoother than the edirol. the ua25 is bright, very detailed, and not very forgiving.

I thought that may have been the case. but did not want to believe it. You know, when you get upgraditis, hard to overcome.

I do believe that you have helped me. I do not think that I will get the Edirol. Nor will I upgrade to the Waveterminal U24.
