Hi all, I’m currently contemplating between the Sony TA-ZH1ES and Chord Hugo 2, where both are dac/amp combo with great performance, would like to get your opinions on which will be a better buy.
Will be using it as a straightforward desktop solution pairing with mainly iems and the HD800. Have tried both on separate occasions and they do sound amazingly nice. Can’t decide which sounds better as the sound signature are different and I don’t have the opportunity to try it side-by-side.
As both are within similar price range, which do you think will be a better choice?
