Opinions and Questions on AKG K701 without bump version

I would first like to introduce myself. i am NOT a audiophile but i enjoy fullsized headphones for Spotify musics. musics like Closer,This is what you came for. i dont really know if i like bass or not. but im definitely not a heavy bass head. i enjoy the crisp sounds, sorry if im not being very clear =( and i love how AKG K701 looks and those big earcups, they are comfy, and i enjoy playing games like witcher 3, assassins creed and such. but i am afriad the lack off bass(which i dont really know how really lacking that is) i used to own one of those purple cans made by audio techinica, i didnt like them becuz its too airy and lose fit on my head i guess their bass arent too good and not tight enough. i owned a m50 also by audio technica which i sold because its too tight but i liked them. now i have a byerdynamic 990dt pro which is very used and needs a new pair. So. i want to buy akg k701 for 180 off ebay but i am afraid i wont enjoy the sound when i listen to music like closer, and play games like witcher 3 and such. would that be a problem? are there just not bass at all for akg k701? i would like to hear some of the owners opinion thanks =D sorry for the long paragraph and random typings

Take a look at a pair of HE-400S's comfortable and decent amount of bass and good soundstage very easy to drive. Bass is better with a pair of Focus A pads.

so massdrop is doing Topping TP30-MARK2 right now. i wonder if that thing along is okay for me to drive a akg712pro or 7xx or he-400i? on desktop with a crappy asus built in crystal sounds 3 onboard sound card?

I have read that the q701 has more bass while the rest of spectrum stays the same as the k701. I have a pair of k701 arriving tomorrow, but specifically bought for gaming. The lack of bass, plus sound stage and good details is what I want.

I wouldn't bet on it. Do you really need the imaging of the K7--? Because otherwise you can just get a Grado SR225e and practically any decent portable DAC-HPamp.
