Ive owned two sets of A500's. First set blew and was replaced. Second set my kid pulled the wires out... I re-soldered the wires and they have been find but the ear pads have been ripped to peices by my stubby face hair.
I love the heavy bass and overall sound of the A500's so I had planed on getting either A700's or A900's but I don't want to face the same problem with the ear pads in 3-6 months.
My spending limit is 200-250$
The will be drivein by my Forte 7.1 sound card that has a so-so headphone amp onboard.
Would prefer something that has a plug for the cord on the headphones due to my kid yankin on the cord alot but this is not a deal breaker for me.
any sugestions?
