Hi guys, I'm looking to pick out a new pair of headphones and was hoping to get some suggestions.
I currently own a pair of DT770 Pro 80's but recently I've developed an issue with pressure building up in my ears and they get uncomfortable after a while and my ears are already a bit sensitive. I'm guessing open headphones won't have this issue. I see a lot of people saying open isn't as good for trance though.
Comfort wise I love the DT770's (minus the pressure issue). I like their overall sound too but it sometimes feels like they don't include a bit at the high range that the Shure SE530's do.
What I'm looking for:
I don't have a headphone amp yet but could extend my upper price range a bit if it's important enough. These would be used with my desktop PC (X-Fi Titanium HD). At home so no worries about sound bleeding.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

What I'm looking for:
- Open (unless convinced otherwise)
- Circumaural
- Good for trance/house, progressive metal, pop/rock, movie soundtracks, fps games (gunshots)
- $300 - $500 price range
- Punchy bass that's not overwhelming
- Good for a 12 hour session
