Hi all,
I have been using my Sennheiser HD650 and 598 for some time right now, and I have noticed that I cannot really do a great job of telling when the volume is TOO loud, since the sound is not assaulting my earbuds (especially with the HD650!). I'd like to hold on to those hair cells in my ear as long as possible
How do people reference loudness with open-backed headphones short of actual head pain? For example, I am driving the 650s out of a Valhalla - how far do you take that volume knob?
