Hello guys,

I am a very active reader here, sadly not contributor, sorry :(
Hope you are still willing to help me.

My plan is to make a "big" upgrade next year on my birthday and may be, hopefully stop my headphone journey - my wife would be happy at least.

So I own Grado Alessandro MS-1, Philips XH2R, Hifiman Sundara and iBasso SR2. I love all of them for their particular reasons.
Driving them mainly on my PC plus a Topping e2xe. Qudelix 5k is also available.
I am listening to classical music, HipHop and sometimes Jazz and electronic.

Now I am looking for the complete package for a max of 1000USD, I know it doesnt exist but you know what I mean.
What I also want to mention: I am from germany and some headphones are harder and some are easier to get. But I will be in NewYork next year for a week and this could also be an option to get a pair.

My options so far, but havent listened to any of them:

JM Audio XTC
Meze 109Pro
Hifiman Arya Stealth
Dan Clark AEON 2

Hope some of you have some time to comment on these options. And I can imagine some of you had a similar choice to make.
What are the differences and are these headphones really a major upgrade to Sundara/SR2?

Thanks a lot for your help. Looking forward to read some comments.
Cheers.

The Arya Stealth are amazing, and open box from Hifiman really affordable now. A JDS Atom 2 stack drives them well. The SMSL D400 is another I have that's an all in one with lots of power.
I've got the Dan Clark Aeon closed, and it's a great closed back, I'm sure the 2 version will be terrific too.
