Looking for open back headphones, I am a musician and I love quality audiophile sound. I use headphones for instrument practice (piano, guitar, and bass) not to bother others living in the house. My ears get sweaty and itchy with closed-back headphones, so my current go-to is open-back Hifiman HE350 with velour pads. I really like the clarity of Hifiman, and I'm looking for headphones that could cover those 3 bases - open back, good for hours of instrument practice and audiophile quality. Would anyone recommend me a pair? Thanks!

Audio Technica ATH-R70X. They're hard to drive, though, and pretty resolving, so you'll likely end up spending as much (or more) on a quality DAC and headphone amp.

Sennheiser HD 600 but you'll need a good amp to get the most out of them, preferably tube OTL. Hard to find a more musical set of headphones for anywhere near the price.
