For those who read about my headphone jack problem with my RKV, here's what happened:
The normal connection of RCA jacks on the back of an amp are in vertical pairs. On the RKV using my very think Nite cables I connected the two RCAs to the horizontal pair of connectors. I didn't know that the RKV uses a shorting system that allows the use of either set of RCAs without switching a selector knob. When I took apart the system to hook-up a Sugden, I found out that I had hooked up both of the RCA cables to the right channel inputs of the amp. This prevented the amp from working properly and caused some buzzing in the headphones. As soon as I put the whole system back together the headphone jack worked perfectly, the buzzing was gone, and the sound is simply fabulous.
IOW I was a bonehead and this amp was made and is made perfectly. Get one if you cna afford it folks!!!
