Extra clarification, fast shipping implies PriceJapan buys retail (instead of wholesale when it's regular shipping) where it's available which means it depends if local stores have them or not.
 
They seem to be on top of their game, so I'd say if Fast Shipping is on the shopping page it's because they know they can find it.
It might not be always the case though. Keep that in mind.

Does the main player have the option to shuffle lists but keep the order of the lists? Basically shuffling to a random album once the album is finished but without shuffling the songs in that album.

This feature in MX player is partly why I prefer using my phone as a dap over most main daps.

Anyway, new update; my DP-X1 originally had 'Customs charges raised' (22:51 UK GMT) yesterday (10th). This morning (11th) however it went to 'Revised Customs charges raised' (06:47 GMT).
Three minutes later it changed again to 'Released from customs' (06:50 GMT).

I'm going to see if that means it's being delivered, or if I'll be informed of a charge (most likely I won't ring Parcel Force)...

I don't get why more daps don't implement that feature though. I find it really useful.

From my experience, most of dedicate DAPs only have basic function with their stock player. Almost none of fancy or creative feature.

Did anyone order the leather case successfully from Rakuten?

I ordered the official Onkyo DPA-PUX1 leather case (and DPA-GL033 glass screen protector) at the same time I ordered my DP-X1.

Speaking to Kaneda of PriceJapan.com, the DPA-PUX1 isn't being released officially in Japan until about the 22nd or thereof.

No one has this case, we'll all have to wait.

Ordered Onkyo DP-X1 on 3rd December with option 3-years warranty...
 
Yesterday received e-mail from Pricejapan that option 3-years warranty is no longer offered (since December) by Onkyo.
Means quality of Onkyo products go down... ??? To many warranty claims?
Including DP-X1?

Hi, I ordered last night but didnt pay the extra for the fast shipping ( I was concerned costs were building in case I got stung for import), Kaneda sent me a mail this morning to say it would be approx three weeks before shipping as the units were on backorder with Onkyo....I may switch to fast shipping yet!

Given the fact that the DP-X1 is a hot product and backordered with Onkyo, I'd bet it will very soon be hard to find one short term... just a guess
Fast shipping if you want it is really worth the price IMHO

I hope mine get released from customs, right now I since JapanPost and Chronopost had little updates I went to http://www.ems.post/tracking and got additional updates but always the same message "Held for customs inspection" (JapanPost just says "At Custom" and the french delivery service, Chronopost has even less detail...).

I also had a request for the bill from the custom agent and I had to forward my PayPal details. Custom apparently did`nt accept the low value of 22k YEN PriceJapan put into their invoice. Bugger! Lets see how high custom charges (Austria) are.
