I have the X1 and Dunu DN2KJ, sound absolutely amazing together.

Balanced? Or 3,5 out? The highs are not too bright?

It can only be SE, I suppose you could recable them which would be costly. I do use my PM3s balanced and my CIEMs with the DP-X1.

FYI the pioneer Bluetooth remote control app is available from Japan Google Play Store and Apple App store Japan. If someone can find it please share the apk.

Just wondering if someone has DP-X1A's update.zip.
I bought DP-X1A and tried to root.
I deleted the google play store accidentally.
I tried to solve this problem but it is getting worse.
Now the DP-X1A is completely dead, after wiping to factory settings, the screen will stop at the wifi searching only.

Please help...thank you

I did have the 2002 with the x1, a gorgeous pairing!
No sibilance or anything.

If you mail dunu in CN they send you a 2,5mm TRRS cable for round about 130 dollar. Pure copper and very good quality!

if you can get into stock recovery try and flash this https://android.googleapis.com/packages/ota/onkyo_raizin32_raizin32/1295292967f8c11f806630c670f0d2b3e0189588.zip  its stock firmware for it

I did try to flash TWRP, but my fastboot si locked.

I used the original recovery to flash.
It appears a message "E: failed to verify while-file system and E: signature verification failed" then installation abored

  so i finally got my balanced cables from PLusSound....i seem to find the that with the balanced cables [using shure se846]  soundstage seemd to be a bit "wider" , more depth,....what i seem to be missing to be missing is the "louder" part.... i read somewhere that when usig in balanced mose music will get louder so if you are used to say volume level of 130 in single ended it should go down when using balanced ..... this did not happen for me.... both with balanced out and ACG...... i actually expected more from balanced out as the manual sais with ACG volume levels will be about same.... so what gives?? why didnt i get louder playback sound in balanced ??

You must have "auto volume enabled", it takes the volume down by 50% or so once balanced connection is detected.

Oh great, my DP-X1's SE socket is getting loose now. Slight movements to the plug will cause it to get dislodged. With straight plugs, I can get it to stay connected; however, with right-angled plugs, the issue is very prevalent.

Mm...have you tried contact cleaner on cable plugs? I use it and finish it with Cardas cleaner (bought from Moon Audio). It solved intermittent signal loss on my DPX1 SE.

Thankfully, I haven't experienced any loss in signal with my DP-X1. The socket is simply loose, which results in 3.5mm jacks popping out ever so often. A friend of mine has the exact same issue, only worse.

-Rename it into update.zip, copy to /sdcard
-from the recovery, select Update from SDCard
