Yeah, try something more recent. Like this -

bilde

David Wells playing for the Sox now, getting drilled in the knee his first day back this weekend. Karmic Payback is a biotch.

I'm not a baseball fan, I probably can hardly even follow a game of it, but I'm Canadian so..

I'd expect no more from you. Coming from the guy who thinks the HD580s are the end all be all headphones I take that as a compliment.

Yeah they're screwing up pretty badly lately but I'm not one of those good-weather fans, I've been a fan since I was a kid, when my dad started gettin me into baseball.

How can he say the Yankees suck if he doesn't even like baseball or know much about baseball?

People generally hate the Yankees because in the past they always used to win. But to say that the Yankees suck when you don't even know anything about them, that would be like saying I hate arabs because they bomb and attack us, it's just a stereotype, and an unfair one at that.

Edit: Sorry to get into politics but baseball is a touchy subject with everyone. Especially the relationship between the Yankees and the Sox

you made the assumption that he didn't know anything about baseball because he didn't follow it. if you've ever lived in Massachusetts, you'd know baseball pretty well, whether or not you cared because there's always someone near you talking abut it. the sports culture here is quite a bit different than it is in hawaii
