Does "music-i-like" cpunt as Genre?
Is there an official creditated musical genre list?

argh!!
I guess it would have to be Rock as it's the most diversified of those i listen to!
you have Classic Rock, Rock and Blues, Folck Rock, Acoustic Rock, , Punk-Rock, etc-Rock! I'd never get tired!
It's a shame no one never tought of naming a ska-Rock, or a Jazz-Rock genre......

'Electronica' because it covers almost the whole range of stuff I listen to.

I could maybe live just listening to metal. There are so many different styles and there are big differences from subgenre to subgenre. There are genres that are much more limited in my opinion.
Tango for example doesn't have that many different styles or something, still my mother somehow manages to listen to tango music almost exclusively.
